Membership

Romans 12: 4-5

“For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.”

Church membership is a way of officially identifying oneself with a local body of believers. It is a statement that you are in agreement with that local church and are willing to be identified as a representative of it.

Also, our membership program is valuable for organizational purposes and a good way of determining who is allowed to vote on important church decisions and/or who is involved in official church positions and functions. Church membership is not required of Christians. It is simply a way of saying, “I am a Christian and I believe Maple Park Church is a good church.”

Church membership is not to be taken lightly. If you are interested in becoming a member at Maple Park, we reccommend that you fill out the form below and submit it to one of the pastors.
